I think people were heartened by the success of the Golden Knights but the W is a whole different animal. I've heard stories from casino employees about thousands of free tickets after attempting "friendly persuasion" to their vendors to buy tickets. They are now offering employees $10.00 tickets with a $10.00 food and beverage credit at the resorts, which is one of the worst ideas I've heard in a while.

Even though attendance is not great and the gate must be non-existent, at least some people are showing up, which is good. If they'll actually pay for a ticket is another story. Incidentally, did you know it costs $18 to park at MB? That might sound like a bargain to many, but in a city where parking used to be free and fees are getting out of control, it has to be in the conversation.

The Mystics crowd included about 1,000 or more camp kids, so it was a special promo. I'm guessing they didn't pay much. But it was a fun time!
