1st inning magic already - lead off single by Sundburg - gets picked off. Then a single and advance on error to second for Verdi - gets picked off. Wow!!

Game 2. 9-6 lead, get first 2 outs in 9th and then complete collapse. Error lets the tying run score. Ruotolo once again can't get the job done. May have hit the freshman wall. URI down to their last strike 3 different times. This is an 11-38 team.

11 inning lead off double by Daniello. Does Penders bunt Daniello down to 3rd with only 1 out. Nope and Siena makes an unproductive out. Then in typical fashion, Daniello gets picked off second, end of rally, end of inning. The lack of baseball intelligence is alarming.

Ruotolo these days is good for one inning, has problems after that. He's thrown a lot of innings in relief this season, so he may be tired after that one inning.

Got out of work in time to listen to that 9th inning. It has not been a pleasant listening experience for the most part since then. All sorts of mistakes for UConn, but still tied in the 12th.

Top 13, Slade hits the first 2 batters and then on sacrifice attempt can't get lead runner at 3rd. Bases loaded no outs. Bunt defense struggling once again.

Loss 12 - 9. Complete choke in so many ways. Not sure this is all on the players. Need to start looking at Penders.Team is not good right now.

Team can not play small ball at all. Penders deserves some critisism for this season. Outside of starting pitching, melley and a reliever here and there this team is a dosaster
