Agreed. I also think that BC might change their tune.
Warde Manuel is good personal friends with UConn's AD. They played football together at Michigan.

Rutgers is really going to miss losing in the BE Tourney in MSG. Now they can lose in Chicago. And why do I get the feeling that Miami and FSU really don't want to come up here in Nov/Dec to play football in the cold? I just get the feeling we represent a threat to a lot of AD's who are concerned our emergence into a premier BB school will be replicated to some extent within the conference. That could be a good thing for everyone involved. What is their beef? That we're good in almost all sports?

He's friends with himself?
Then it sounds like UConn's football coaching situation is not the top concern for Manuel. Poor guy.Warde Manuel is good personal friends with UConn's AD. They played football together at Michigan.

Is Warde Manual also good friends with UConn's other ADs? Is he in a Sybil-like state all the time?

Clemson Board of Trustees chair says they'd prefer a school that "adds to football prowess" of ACC http://usatoday.com/story/sports/college/2012/11/19/college-sports-maryland-rutgers-acc-big-east-expansion-realignment/1715913/# …
Not a surprise, but Clemson sounding like a "no" vote for UConn (apologies if mentioned earlier):
This is the issues. There are none. That's why the BE sucks. Louisville, Cincy, Rutgers, USF, and UConn all have potential on the east coast (read, east of the Mississippi). Rutgers and UConn were the only two with the academics. Rutgers is gone.Who would he vote for? La Tech? UCF?
