UConn (3-0, 1-0 AAC) closes a stretch of four games in 10 days to kick off the season when it hosts Virginia (2-2) tonight at the XL Center. The Cavaliers may have been picked to finish toward the bottom of the conference in ACC preseason polls, but they shook things up in their last game, nearly upsetting No. 13 Kentucky before falling, 50-47. Otherwise, Virginia boasts wins over Bucknell and Cal State Northridge as well as a 10-point loss to USC.
