Another version of the Vin’s story. Vin was ready on the court but did not have the maturity to deal with what became his addiction. He lost a million dollars in one night. That’s why it is not just about the Rookie contract but other things as well.

I remember being at the game when Baker and UHar played UConn. For a fairly long stretch Calhoun had Toraino Walker guarding Baker and it did not go well for Walker and UConn. Then JC put Burrell on Baker and it changed the game totally. It’s great that Baker is finding his way. and good luck to his daughter.

I saw Vin Baker working his son out in Derby with Wes Matthew’s Sr randomly a few years back. Followed his son when he was at BC. He was just too skinny. Both guys were class acts.
