She’s really good. Like Geno. You get thought out answers.
Has this board exhausted the possibility of Sue Bird as heir-apparent to Geno? I think it’s a no-brainer. IMO the hardest aspect of replacing Geno is the connection of the next coach to the tradition of the program Geno built. She checks that box and many others too.

She's the managing director. She's the one who hires the coaches, helps decide on players to invite and put on team. Look at the roster from the Olympic team the last time, there's probably only two players not back. Obviously Diana Taurasi and I'd guess Brittney Griner. So you're talking about two spots, maybe three that will be open if you keep the rest of the players that were on the last team. The next event is the World Cup in September. How many of these players are going to be willing to miss part of their WNBA season towards the playoffs to play?
