Not for nothing, but without this magical opening for the scoreboard vendor the project was a bust for the state as far as getting it installed on time.

Maybe they gave the vendor the extra 100k to be bumped ahead on the list?

Three boards. Not really sure what that works out to as far as coverage.

kinda wish it was bigger. If some cattle ranching oil drillers down in Dallas can afford a fancy big screen in the middle of their stadium there's no reason why there can't be two huge screens for the flagship university of the richest per capita state in the union. Come on you miserly taxpayers.... cough up some green.

Looks good - As long as game clock, 40 second clock and down and distance are easy to spot in multiple locations . . .looks like the 'old' 40 second clock and game clock are still up. . . .above the power washing guy is the "old" small obsolete scoreboard at the east end. Hope that one is part of upgrade.

FWIW that thing is an abomination. Necessary when you put seats on the moon. But makes it very hard to watch the field if you are in the upper levels.

As far as the advertisements for Dunkin Donuts and Toyota, I'd guess some of those might be featured on the ribbon board along with the score, stats, etc. Maybe a cartoon whistle for when the PC Richards whistle comes up. There's some more stuff to complain about!

I have been a little annoyed with my former employer. Why does UTC not have a banner anymore. What does it cost for crying out loud. A Booster at least, what the hay we are sitting on what used to be their runway. They had one till a few years ago.

No idea. But when I ran through the stadium a couple of weeks back it didn't look like anything had changed. Maybe behind the scenes?

The concession stands were the same spots, same looks, but some different food for the USMNT game there last month. Food seemed better but still pricey. My main concern was speed of service. I understand they have volunteers but service was the slowest for any sporting event I've ever been at, and there was only 25k people there.
