That was great, thanks for posting it. That team is up there as one of my favorite teams ever, if not my favorite. That 98-99 season was truly magical. Too bad the current team decided to play such a stinker in front of Khalid, Rip, Jake, et al.

When they show Khalid's two free throws in the national championship game and the subsequent celebration my entire body still gets chills 15 years later. Its incredible how much that game meant to so many people and that it can still make you react so strongly so many years later.

Its incredible how much that game meant to so many people...

For me it was one of those defining moments in life, one of those "I remember where I was when..." moments. It was surreal, as I watched alone in my girlfriend's (now wife's) condo, that the UConn men could win a national championship against blue blood Duke. That right was only for a few schools and my school just joined that elite group.
