At times Patterson can look so athletic it would be great to see her start to assert herself in this game, assuming she will get some minutes. IMHO, You can never be too deep at any position.

In a 9 player rotation, the backup 4 has a vacancy sign. So far nobody has done enough to convince Geno to use 10. Ayanna as a natural 4 has a chance to make a case for herself, particularly with Ice being out, but her competition could come from other positions so it wouldn't be easy.

As long as they could play a proven talented guard and move Blanca or Morgan if healthy there, or even move Serah to the 4 with Jana at the 5, being the next 4 on the depth chart wouldn't guarantee playing time at all, and of course there are not many minutes behind our best player anyway.

More likely I think, is the possibility that Ayanna does well enough to establish herself as the next big up in case of injury, where her main competition is a currently injured Ice.
