Who we want to win VCU right? I think if Drexel wins the CAA will get 2 teams in but if VCU then they probably will only get one as Drexel doesnt have the resume to get in leaving open another spot for a bubble team.

VCU will win this game. I honestly have only seen them play 3 games this year and the last two have impressed me a lot.

It has been gruesome every time I have flipped over there. Conferences like the MAAC really shouldn't do a tournament. I know ESPN pays them a few hundred thousand, but Iona had a chance to win a game in the NCAA's, while Fairfield or Loyola will be a 16 seed.

VCU has missed some wide open 3's, otherwise this game is a blowout. The shots look good and most of the shooters have pretty good form, but they are just missing.

I continue to watch the Fairfield game only because I live in that neck of the woods and it hasn't gotten any better. One of the ugliest basketball games I've watched this year. This game is a series of ugly shots, horrible turnovers, bouncing balls off feet and bricks. You watch this terrible excuse for basketball and realize Iona's coach needs to put a muzzle on because his beef with the BE comparison is laughable. Players look undersized, underskilled, slow and just downright bad. If you didn't know any better, you might think it was D3. Ffld has 11 pts in the 2nd half with 3 minutes left.

With VCU winning and getting the auto-bid, I think Drexel is relegated to the NIT.

So far Championship Week(s) has been working out well for bubble teams. The WCC championship game tonight is between two tourney locks. I think the A-10 is the only conference tournament remaining where a big could be stolen.

I think the A10 is getting at least 3, with St. Louis and Temple as locks and Xavier just about in no matter what Lunardi says. Dayton will be interesting. I think one of those 4 wins the A10, so I don't see any bid stealing here.

The ones to watch are CUSA and the Pac 12. I think Marshall or UCF could win CUSA, stealing a bid since Memphis and USM are locks. I have no idea who the Committee will treat the Pac 12. It is a mid-major league based on performance and only has 1 team that is close to a lock, but the Committee will find a way to give the Pac 12 2 bids.

It is disappointing that schools like Iona and MTSU will not make the dance, because they could have pulled an upset.
