Vance Jackson and Christian Vital 3pt stats

Need to throw in minutes in there. Either for the season or avg pg.

I think it's a product too if the 3 being a bigger deal

Also, UConn was terrible this year and playing from behind a lot chucking 3s

If either can become sharpshooters that would be great to compliment the others

2016-17: Vital/Jackson 54.6 MP
2010-11: Lamb/Napier 51.6 MP
2002-03: Anderson/Brown 36.4 MP
1993-94: Allen/Sheffer 52.1 MP
2006-07: Wiggins/Dyson 48.1 MP

I know Ray Ray was more athletic back then, but I wouldn't have guessed Sheffer had significantly more 3's than he did during his freshman year.

If you adjust for minutes player Anderson/Brown leap off the page as the most productive pair, by quite a bit. Vital/Jackson and Lamb/Napier are a dramatic step down but are close relative to each other. Another step down to Allen/Sheffer and Wiggins/Dyson who are close to each other as well.

Doron was the starting 2 guard that year and I believe even some backup minutes at PG. Ray came off the bench thereby giving Doron more court time. Doron was also the more experienced having played a couple of years in Israel with, I believe their national team. Both had great freshman years, but Doron was voted the BE rookie of the year.

Wow, what pops out at me is the Doron had more 3-pointers than Ray Allen as Freshman. I'm sure I would have lost that bet
Didn't Doron win rookie of the year in the Big East over Ray? Yes, I just looked it up. He was the starter and Ray was in off the bench. Henefeld also won BE ROY.

Great minds and all that. More like some great memories.
