"Honestly, no one ever listens to that little Italian . We make him go outside in the hallway when discussing conference business."

disclaimer: I am somewhat Italian.

damage control time. further proof that bladschun's comment in the globe article claiming BC has increasing influence on the ACC is patently incorrect.

It will all come out in deposition. I really hope there is a massive lawsuit against ESPN and their paid ACC goons.

I like how the 2 ADs say that they have not read the Globe article. So why bother commenting on an issue which they do not know the full story. Are they too lazy to read 2 pages? Sounds foolish to me.

Isn't somewhat Italian being like somewhat in the mafia. Either you are or your not. Just sayin....

Just means you can't get made, like Henry Hill (only half Sicilian).

Of course they read it, it just makes them seem farther removed from the comments if they said they didn't.

It would be a terrible, terrible idea if uconn got involved in any litigation. The correct party to file a lawsuit would be NBC and/or Fox for undercutting business.

Maybe his family is from Malta?
Nah, half Irish, quarter Italian, some old Yankee thrown in the rest. Just enough Italian to slur Defilippo.

Agree

Once the Big East is set, they should be able to negotiate a good deal with one of the major network players. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Notre Dame agreeing to play a certain number of Big East opponents each year would certainly help.
