No. 9 seed UConn and No. 8 Colorado are nearing the tip in Des Moines. From the Huskies' last NCAA tournament game, a title-clinching win in 2014 over Kentucky, guard Phillip Nolan started and center Amida Brimah played 13 minutes. Neither scored. Four other Huskies were on the team but did not play. UConn lost in the first round of the NIT a year ago.
