His practices were entirely inline with the organizational philosophies demanded by US Soccer, but moreover, they were regimented, highly detail oriented, rigorous, over and above the practices run by our US Class A coaches (I'm referring to the D1 head coaches which ran the club's top teams until the UEFA Pro guy was hired). This was done with US Soccer money (the college guys make $15-25k for running teams, the UEFA Pro coach was hired for double that--all these guys have other jobs, obviously). Reyna by the way is not an athletic wonder. But look at guys like De La Fuente, Adams, Soto. They are highly talented. Adams is a key player for his team. Have we ever had a CDM with Adams' ability? I don't think so. In another 5 years, the US will be a top team (top 20) on the world stage. In another 15 years, we'll be worse than we were 3 years ago. [/QUOTE]
