There is nothing about the perceptionof UConn in that article. It recaps the games in East Hartford.

They shouldn't take anyone lightly. They aren't any good and aren't likely to be anytime soon with the way things are going in this state for the other programs.

"Since the Huskies began playing at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, in an era when USF and UConn became conference foes, it has become a house of horrors for the Bulls."

Hope that helps.

That's just really a fact. You read pretty deeply into nothing.

If only USF were in the Big Ten, they could get us in.

Or something.

I just hope we have a better result than we did this day (any win, any way!)... found this cleaning out a drawer in my desk at home this past weekend.

I remember a 'yard tailgate and game, but not the opponent.

Just some poor kid Sparrowhawk who got ripped apart so bad he was giving us the finger...

I would swear that was the Bulls in 2000... Anyone remember that one?

Every once in a while I have to remind myself that Ga. Tech played a football game in Storrs.

Also that article says we were "the first FBS opponent they beat" ... in 2000? Wasn't that our "transition period?"

That was the biggest game ever. I remember being in the UCMB for that game. It was my senior year and we got absolutely crushed! Yet it was still awesome to see this big time school playing in our little high school stadium.

Are you a big hockey fan with long hair who sat in 210 when the Rent opened?

Nah sat in 214 or 215 I believe during that first season. I probably know whoever it is you're referring to though if they were in the UCMB from 99-2003. Hockey right above NBA basketball for me....which is low....

Hmm...sounds familiar like a guy I knew who played bass drum. Was a big kid with long hair. Saw him at games the first few years at the Rent in passing so it could be him. Regardless, it wasn't me. I'm a tall guy but I played the tuba.
