USF Upsets Texas Tech

TTech was a pretender all year. They started three ladies 5'7" and shorter, had no true post, and won when their threes fell and looked awful when they didn't. The Curry wife/husband coaching act is wearing thin in Lubbock. This was the year, hosting, that they were supposed to return to national notice. Well, they're noticed alright.

Lubbock is just so difficult to recruit to that it may never again be a successful program.

Another sign of how weak the Big 12 was as a conference, and not going to be a whole lot stronger next year except in Austin maybe.

However, I really hated that Baker was called for her fifth foul with 5 minutes to go on such a HORRIBLE call. That ref really screwed the pooch on that one and sent one of TTU's best players to the bench at crunch time.

I did too. I actually have them upsetting Cal in mine...But they will have to play like they did against Notre Dame to do so.

Really nice win for a team from our conference. Happy for their 8 seniors. This win and their new practice facility and upgraded arena should help recruiting. Not to mention the nice winters....Serviously, wishing them good luck tomorrow. Cal will be a tough one.
