No, that is not something we should do. Why disrupt your athletes' circadian rhythms? It will set them back for a week.

Since teams are limited in the amount of team practice time they can have in a week I don't think it makes a ton of sense to spend some of it trying to teach half-asleep kids.

Ok maybe the 3AM practice is a bit much, but I gotta say everything I have been hearing about Taggart and the way hes running things down there just seems to be full of energy. I think that is what we really need from a coaching staff. Someone who isn't afraid to mix things up and be contriversal. Someone out spoken like a Mike Leach type. Bring a new type of excitement to the program. I think thats what Taggart is doing. I mean that comercail he did was a little weird, but hes done cool things with bringing Harbaugh in and Hulk Hogan, the players have to be excited about that.

The team that I can see doing this is off by one letter. UCF plays across the pond and I can see them doing something along these lines (maybe not 3AM though) to adjust to the time change for when they play Penn State. But since USF won't have any games that approaches that body clock cycle, this just seems like a desperate ploy to grab headlines. Mission accomplished.

This just sounds like a gimmick. That video he did was bizarre.

I can already hear the anti-USF recruiting pitch. 3:00AM? !!!
