The AAC won three titles in a row 2014-2016 so that's how important that stat is in overall conference strength. The SEC, like all conferences in wcbb, is very top heavy. When those top teams lose in conference it's almost always because they played a poor game. Conference play isn't what I look most forward to. It's probably because UConn plays in a mid-major conference and has won practically every conference title since the early 90's. Of course there was 2013 when the Big East had three of the 4 final four teams. Has the SEC ever done that? https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/rankings/_/year/2013
