1 of the 3 teams (w/ AP & WBCA) used by the NCAA to determine unanimous All American. In 2021, when USBWA had a 6-player 1st Team, they stated: "Due to a tie in the voting, 16 players are being honored as All-Americans with six players making up the first team." This year, no such statement about a tie. Did they just decide to go with 6 because it was really close, but not an actual tie?

I'm sorry but Paopao is second team!?

Season 6 What GIF by The Office

probably like 2021, but then why do not vote a 4 members second team ?
Researching further, the Iowa WBB press release states: "The USBWA board decided to honor six first-team players this season and five honorable mention players for a total of 21. The board selected the team based on voting from the entire USBWA membership based on regular-season performance." That doesn't sound like a tie to me. In 2021, when there was a tie, USBWA said so. Not this year.

Interesting - an international player on each team. Wonder if that has happened before? It probably has, I just happened to notice it this year.
