Winning gold at theWorld Cup 2018 took a team effort, but Stewie and Diana really stood out. Stewie played 161 minutes or 26.8 per game. Diana was 2nd at 131 minutes. Those two led the scoring at 98 and 73 points respectively. Together, they had 19 of the USA's 37 threes and 60 total baskets. They accounted for 32.5% of the USA offense !!

Stewie was 2nd in rebounding to Tina Charles (38 vs 44) and Dee was 2nd in assists to Sue Bird (22 vs 24). Stewie had an assist to turnover ratio of 3.0 (15 vs 5) and D.T. made 22 of 24 free throws. Just a great effort from the Huskies all around..!!

Now for some much-needed rest and then off to more basketball overseas..!

Dee told me she is not playing overseas. Her next games will be in Phoenix in May. Keep in mind that she now has a family.

Tina told me she's not going to Russia until January.
