The two leading scorers for the Aussies play in their WNBL. Does that make them ineligible for NCAA scholarships? Anyone want a 4-year trip to Connecticut?

Only 8 assists on 30 made buckets - not UConn basketball (although 5 of the 8 assists came from
the UConn contingent).

A'ja Wilson nearly had a double double (11/9).

If the Aussies could hit a free throw, they could have won.

MoJeff had 4 of the USA assists -- the most by any USA player.

And she had 6 rebounds (all defensive) -- 3rd best behind Stewie (10 and A'ja Wilson (9). Not bad for a "peanut."

The Aussies missed over 30 shots, including 6 from long-range. Chances are that Moriah simply got to the long rebounds quicker than anyone else. They all count, whether you have to jump or not.

USA shot even worse. Looks like USA outplayed them just couldn't make shots. 2-15 from 3 pt? Even 5-15 (which wouldn't be great, but better) and they would have won rather easily.

Still wish Harper would have come to UCONN. :(

Impressive stats for the youngest player for the USA...A'ja Wilson.

One thing to remember in these games is everyone is dealing with some degree of travel weariness.
