USA Today 35 Anniversary Team

Stewie third team? That is ridiculous!!!
Well here's the thing - if it's about their "careers" including college, pros, and Olympics, then yeah she deserves to be on the 3rd team. NO ONE has as many championships and medals as Bird and Taurasi. Charles is still "young" and should move up over time as she continues to excel for Team USA. Parker, on the other hand, should drop since she's no longer part of Team USA. Either way I'd have put Catch on the 1st team in place of her.

Stewie will continue to rise as she excels in the W and internationally. Just my $.02.

Have we heard of them before: American Family Insurance ALL-USA program?????

This selection appears to be based on high school play ("girls basketball," not "women's").

No Delle Donne on these teams. (edited, Thanks, JordyG)

Ok guys here's the deal.

This is from the USA Today AA's. 35 years worth. USA Today HS Reporter Jim Halley narrowed down 35 years worth of players who went on to have distinguished college and WNBA careers. A panel consisting of 9 experts ranked each player by position. Fan polls counted as the 10th panel.

That's where it came from. (Geez I have to explain everything.)

1st Team
PG - Sue Bird
SG - Diana Taurasi
SF - Maya Moore
PF - Candace Parker
C - Lisa Leslie

2nd Team
PG - Dawn Staley
SG - Katie Smith
SF - Tamika Catchings
PF - Nneka Ogwumike
C - Tina Charles

3rd Team
PG - Skylar Diggins
SG - Alana Beard
SF - Chamique Holdsclaw
PF - Breanna Stewart
C - Brittney Griner

I don't quite get how they formulated it (and don't care)
but in a 7 game series, I'd take the 3rd team with the points. :)

I would go 1st team, 3rd team, 2nd team.
