[B]Tina Charles saved her best effort for the tough Brasil game with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. [/B]For anyone wondering why Charles is on the team, she is 2nd on the squad in assists (15), 2nd in rebounding (23) and shooting 50% from the field (11-22). On a team missing many stars due to injury or WNBA playoffs, Tina provides senior leadership that is critical. [B]Give the USA committee that picked this squad credit. [/B]Despite missing Maya, Diana, Sue, Elena and Stewie, USA is dominating with only minimal practice time together. They have balanced scoring, inside and out, and 116 assists on 158 baskets (73%).
