The U.S. women's national team traveled more than 48 hours to get from Houston to Bahia Blanca, Argentina, for the FIBA Pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament, where they topped Brazil 76-61 in Thursday's opener.

I was going through the boxscore and came across two new names for this trip to Argentina: Diamond DeShields and Arike Ogunbowale. Neither played a bunch in this game (13 and 9 minutes, respectively), but for those calling for some more speed at the guard position, there you go.

Don't know the answer, but the women's USABB accommodations were pretty first-class for the Rio Olympics - luxury yacht parked in Guanabara Bay, shared with the men's team.
