Had to picked up my daughter at BU this afternoon and decided to stayed and watch BU against the US World Junior team. It was a pretty good game. The game was played at the old Walter Brown arena because Disney on ice was at Agganis. Jack Eichle is a stud. He played against his college squad tonight and scored a short handed laser over the left shoulder of the goalie. Noah Hanifin(BC) scored for the US and also looked strong. Others that were impressive for the US were Alex Tuch, Sonny Milano and Jeremy Bracco. The final score was 5-2 US. BU skated hard but were just over matched as would be expected. The difference in team speed was really evident. I think the US has a very good chance to do well at the World Junior Tournament starting on December 26th.
