While after the PGA he could have put a new head on his old shaft and grip he didn’t have that option when his driver failed the compliance test. These guys get very comfortable with clubs , Rory and Scottie had both used the same driver for multiple years. You don’t just swap out someone’s tools and not expect some growing pains.
