Upset Alert: ND v. Pitt

Edit: Wasn't watching, but Pitt committed a penalty so ND got a fresh set of downs. Scored a TD. According to Yahoo, missed PAT. Not sure if blocked or just shanked.

Just watched a replay of the penalty. It was a pass interference call against the Pitt DB. I do not agree with the call.

Kicker pulled the XP wide left for no apparent reason. That changes the complexion of the game quite a bit for obvious reasons.

Questionable - I agree. Not a completely blown call per se, there appeared to be some contact but I wouldn't say it was a penalty.

At least if Pitt wins and we somehow beat them we can say we beat a team that beat ND. So. There's that.

If they were staying in the Big East I would probably be more excited. Although if ND loses to Pitt Ville will likely jump them in the rankings which is good for the conference.
