Here's what we're looking at heading into the July live periods:

I don't think he'll stay all 3, but it's ridiculously sweet seeing Purvis with 3 years of eligibility left.

Has anyone heard about us bringing in another player this season? With 3 scholarships available we can obviously bring someone in. Any 5th year players still in the radar, I'd imagine they don't want a freshman who would further clog up next year's class

I think they're done for this year. Getting pretty late in the game.

They tried on a few, but demand is pretty high for those types of players these days as everyone jumps aboard the train (that we've been on for a few years now).

.-.
there wasn't much in the way of big men out there, it was basically guards/wings, which they're already set at

My guess is we get a 5th year senior, late freshman pick, and possibly Lenehan gets a scholarship a la Brendan Allen.

.-.
Great job tcf! That makes it so much easier to understand.
Seems crazy to waste 3 scholarships. No 3, 4 or 5s with one year of eligibility? Even for practice?

Looks like we need a green guy

.-.
Apparently they awarded Lenehan with one. Fine with me as it won't affect scholarships for future recruits.

He only has one year left and it really doesn't look like we plan on adding for this season so this is best move we could have made if you ask me. Walk-ons work too, he deserves it. Congratulations Pat.

Great for Pat. He works really hard and his teammates really like him. I would expect one more add before the dust settles, either a freshman or a 5th year.

Why does Sam Cassell Jr come in as a sophomore?
He has 3 years of eligibility left. At Chipola, he redshirted his freshman year and played his sophomore year.

Ah, I'd never heard of the school and assumed he was doing post-grad prep not JUCO. I think he's already 22yrs old, I'm expecting a savy player.

Yeah, the NCAA kind of screwed him when he was coming out of Notre Dame Prep and declared him ineligible. Here's an article about it if you're interested: http://www.cbssports.com/collegebas...gibility-to-myles-davis-and-sam-cassells-kid-

Glad he ended up at UConn, though, and it sounds like he's been playing well so far:

My boy @sam2ss2ll was a great pick up for US. His pops still might be better then him tho. Lol, watch out for him tho.

.-.
Newman, Stone, and Jones. Enoch or Briscoe wouldn't suck either. Give me 3 of those 5. Gotta strike while the iron's hot.

Good list TC but I have to disagree with OC as a SG. He has played almost primarily at SF and only spot minutes at the 2. His handle is not good enough to play the 2. So we are pretty much 2 deep in 2015-16 also.

Rodney purvis seems like such a positive guy, you always see him tweeting good stuff about the team
