I like it because 19 is loaded with talent in the northeast, specifically guard talent. So the pitch can be we have 2 senior guards graduating, another entering his senior year, which only leaves us with 2 guards, one of which is a injury question mark, in a guard heavy system.

If we don't sign anyone else this year, We're going to have at least 5 available scholarships next year. At least one player won't be happy about playing time or won't like Coach Hurley's coaching style. That's a #ChiefGuarantee

I guess I'm a little confused as to why we only have 1 available scholarship now. We had 3 incoming freshman that all decommitted plus we're losing Larrier. With Adams and Smith coming in, doesn't that leave us with 2 open? If not, who took Larrier's spot? Was Sidney Wilson not considered on scholarship last year?

To my understanding we had two scholarships open going into the year. We got three commits under Ollie expecting a player to leave. That was Larrier.

UConn was at 14 scholarships when Lukas Kisunas committed and you can only carry 13 at a time. End of season, Terry Larrier, James Akinjo, Emmitt Matthews, and Lukas Kisunas decommitting/leaving left UConn at 10. Adding Brendan Adams and Tarin Smith brought UConn back to 12 with one left for next year.
