If UConn doesn’t beat Tulane Wednesday night at Gampel, this season could spiral out of control pretty quickly.
Tulane is rated 197 in KenPom. I know they’re improving and they’ve beaten Utah (neutral), played Memphis tough on the road, and just beat Cincinnati at home, but you have to win this game at home. No excuses.
Wichita St just beat Ole Miss today by 20. They’re probably the best team in the American now that Memphis doesn’t have Wiseman. They’ve got multiple bigs that are athletic and physically imposing. I see zero way UConn wins this game.
@ Villanova is a L. Athletic bigs, shooters, this will be ugly.
@ Houston is a BRUTAL way to end this stretch. Cougars have rounded into form and defend at an elite level. BUT. They don’t have an overly “big” team, and struggle to shoot from the outside. Even though it’s on the road and we’ve looked terrible on the road so far this season, I’d say this is the second most winnable game of this stretch.
