Up 3 in OT final seconds, they foul and send team X (forgot who they played) to the line. Kid hits the first, down by 2. He deliberately bricks the second, tip back to a 3 point shooter who puts up a wild shot well beyond the 3 point line at the buzzer. Missed. Replay reveals he was fouled.

Could have 2 point game with 3 shots at the line.

you're essentially playing probability....if you let them shoot a 3, odds are somewhere b/w 30-40%....with the scenario you mentioned I'd think the probability is much less than 30%.

what I found most interesting watching that game was their coach Dave Rice sitting Roscoe on the bench during key defensive possessions late in the game, including the last two, when Fresno St was getting offensive rebounds at will. didn't make any sense.

the amazing thing is that Roscoe did that TWICE... The first one was one of the more shocking things I'd ever seen. Then he did it again...

30% probability of a tie. 10% probability of a tie/loss.
