The plus for the women playing though I think is significant.  The pace of play is fast and with only a roster of six the players will be in great shape.  For players who are still learning how to move and untilize the court it does offer time on the court and space to learn without being so out of position you end up sitting with the coach.  It will also offer a lot of opportunity to learn how to defend great players one on one.

In the end I think it will start out with the most eyes the league will see and eventually will end up like so many other leagues.  I don't see how the current format makes it more than a year or so.
