I can understand losing to Baylor and Notre Dame, but losing to a crappy ST. Johns team on you're home floor is unexceptable.

Really, crappy?

They finally have all their players healthy, they had won several BE road games and obviously are well coached.

Unexceptable? Wow.

Well, the "crappy" team out-played the Uconn team the entire game.

I watched St. John's, not even at full strength, play Baylor really tough for a lot of their matchup before wearing down. I didn't think UConn would lose, but I knew St. Johns would play them tough.

You shoulda asked...lol.

They surely outplayed us. To see the ball torn out of Kelly's hands at least twice? I didn't think King Kong could do that.

I was at the St. Johns- Baylor game. Baylor won, but St. Johns was up at the hapf. That isn't crappy.

We still should win, if we play like we can, but they are, by no means, a crappy team.

I know in my heart that St. John's is not a crappy team, but it just frustrates me that UCONN lost a game it should have won. Its not as if UCONN does not have alot more talent then St. John's because it certainly does. Uconn has always had the reputation of beating teams it should and the St. John's game was no exception. I really hope that this game was a wakeup call for UCONN. I now look forward to The Big East and NCAA Tournaments.

I know the argument can be made that it shouldn't come down to this, but this is the way the cookie crumbled, St. John's hits 3s they usually don't hit at the end of both halves. I think we all would rather have been unhappy with a close win than a close loss, and there almost certainly would have been second-guessing a close win. We would all have been happy with the win.
