I know, I know...it will never happen...but want to check with everyone here just in case.

Here is the situation: I live in Chicago, but have kept my season tickets since I moved out here in 2006 (loyal season ticket holder since Memorial Stadium, and I have been to every UConn bowl game). I always make it back for at least one game a year. Given that I only come back for one or two games a year, I don't buy the parking passes with my season tickets. I love parking out on the runway and don't mind the long walk--so general parking is fine with me.

Obviously I am coming back for the Michigan game this year. I am thinking of bringing my 2 year old son to the game as his first UConn game of his life. But I know that he will not be able to sit through the whole game (I am hoping for maybe the first half). However, there is no way I am leaving the game early (I have never left a UConn game early...nevermind the Michigan game). So I am hoping to take two cars and have my wife leave with my son once he needs to go and I will stay at the game. However, I cannot have my wife and 2 year old son (who when they will be leaving will be in meltdown mode I am sure) walk a mile back to the car on the runway by themselves. The only way this is going to work is if I can get a Gold or Blue parking pass so that my wife and son can have a short walk to the car to leave when needed...and leave me at the game with the other car out on the runway.

I know this is a complete longshot, but was hoping that maybe a fellow Boneyarder has an extra Gold or Blue parking pass I can use. Obviously, I can pay for it...I just need to find a way to get my son to the game and allow me to stay!:)

Can anyone help out?

You can inbox me a message if you can.

Thanks!

There is parking at the houses right at the blue lot entrance for $10 or the Aero Club field right next to the houses. Easy walk and when you leave you are not stuck in the blue lot traffic.

Sportsart is spot on. Park one car in the houses on Silver Lane for $10. It's not a bad walk, and it will be easy to get out and to the highway.

My wife and I planned what we thought were going to be several, inevitable, contingency plans and escape routes for our 3 year old grandson's first game--but never needed them. He stayed the whole game. He slept a while during part of the game in my arms but was wide eyed right up to the end. You just may be surprised at how long your son will last with all the colors, sounds, excitment, video boards, dance cams, popcorn, ice cream etc. Good Luck.
