Under Calhoun vs Under Blaney plus hell

Under Calhoun game would go down to the wire.. Any loss would be within 3 points. Under Blaney games go from close to appearing like blowouts. If the Calhoun era ends (I REALLY hope not) then this program needs to go after a big time name ... Even if that means dishing big time $$$. We have the name brand ...please let's not lose it. We all love and have so much pride in UConn. This past year n half has been extremely turbulent. Let's review..

1) edsall leaves fb program for his dream job at Maryland

2) our university president steps down

3) Jeff Hathaway steps down new AD just now Taking over

4) Pitt, Cuse, WVU leave big east ... Tcu decommits .. Conference has to realign

5) Uconn fb goes from BCS to finishing under .500 with no bowl

6) Uconn banned from 2013 big eat tourney (last year pitt n Cuse will play in it) banned from NCAA tourney .. Lose 2 scholarships

7) boatwright suspended start season

8) Calhoun suspended 3 conf games

9) boatwright suspended again

10) Calhoun out indefinitely with medical issues

+ possible NIT bound + uncertainty of Calhoun future. This has been an unprecedented year of he'll for UConn athletics.

Yet through it all this years tourney is still a possibility. Here's to taking advantage of a clinging opportunity.

The women are ranked #2. We hired a new AD who is highly regarded and a new President who is committed to academics and athletics. A new practice facility is within reach. People are shocked the men are playing so poorly as opposed to thirty years ago when this would have been considered an encouraging season. Chin up, friend!
