Apparently passing a no show, no work basket weaving course is ok and incompletes in a stat or managerial economics course is not according to the NCAA. After all they don't police academic quality just completion and progress. Calipari is handing out Second Semester grades for Christmas

The whole situation is a farce. The fact that there is no clear collusion between the athletic department and the african american studies department is irrelevant: the academic advisors in the athletic department knew what those classes were, they steered their athlete's to take the classes because of it, they cheated plain and simple.

UConn doesn't have a problem if Hathaway played the ball game or Emmert didn't want to sc*w JC. It always was about people against people and not academic standards. BTW, Hathaway didn't only have it in for JC. He stuck it to RE as well.

They kicked this up to the governor for a reason. This was a political hot potato. Why didn't other academics do the investigation? The reason should be obvious. They had to protect the interests of sports. All you need to know about this is that the governor headed the investigation. That in itself is incredibly funky.

That doctor in the AFAMS program is vacationing somewhere nice, in a luxury hotel.

Also, since the grades were fraudulent, are they going to recalculate UNC's APR? Though the report says athletics was not involved (ha, ha, hah!), this doesn't mean the APR scores are now legit.
