Henson, Barnes and Marshall entering the draft. Along with Zeller, UNC losses 4 starters.

Syracuse must be wishing that they were going into the ACC next year.

Damn, that class didn't even make a final four.

.-.
I'm a bit surprised neither of the UConn guys have declared yet.

It probably just means they haven't sat down with Calhoun yet. I remember Hasheem Thabeet took a little while, then Calhoun told the media he'd be sitting down with Hasheem the next day. At about 5 PM that day, Hasheem declared.

I'd be willing to bet Lamb declares soon after he sits down with Jim. Drummond, I think he waits to see what happens with the NCAAs, although I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed whether or not we can play in the tournament.

In his two years, Harrison Barnes did not win a title of any kind - no Maui Tournament, no Preseason NIT, no ACC Tournament, no NCAA Tournament, etc.

As much PT as this would give AO, I don't see it as a great situation any longer. It would have been ideal if Henson and Barnes left and Marshall stayed but now they have no creator. Strickland is not a distributor. Are they going to start dumping the ball down to AO for his patented lefty hook?

It's about time that this happened to UNC. For the last while, they have been incredibly lucky:
  • Felton, McCants, and May came back for their junior years;
  • Hansborough came back for his junior and senior seasons, and Lawson/Ellington for their sophomore and junior seasons (the second for each of these is crazy--they were a Final Four team and they would have all been drafted);
  • Barnes, Zeller, and Henson could have all left after last season, but came back.
Without any injuries, I think this team was better than UK; with a healthy Henson and Marshall, they could have clearly have taken out UK. You hate to see a season end due to injuries.

I dunno. Per talent on paper they matched up well with UK. As far as defense and toughness, I don't think they were good enough.

I don't know. They did only lose by one, on a blocked shot, at Kentucky.
