With those frosh, they will be a lot better next year. But I was never sold on their ranking this year -- they were terrible in 2011-12, and didn't add much so I think they are severely overrated. But with the way their conference schedule works out, they could be 16-2 by mid-January. That 2nd loss being the smackdown that MD will give them this Thursday.

Ruffin-Pratt may be healthy for the first time in her college career--she was ranked almost even with Skylar in high school--and Xylina is a player. But they are far from an elite team. They are a misleading 12-1. I think they make the NCAAs this year and win 1 tourney game, maybe 2, if at home.

They are the OSU of 2012-2013. Altho in fairness, they did beat OSU this year lol. But i could see them ending the year with only 5-6 losses (2 to MD, 2 to Duke, and probably 1 to FSU), which still probably puts them in the top 15 and gets them a 4 seed. Let's hope they are in UCONN's bracket lol.

Then again, maybe they lose games to teams like Ga Tech, Miami, and a few others as well. I agree they are not a good team.

As for next year, they will certainly have talent, but without fundamentals and execution, a cupcake schedule won't expose them till they play teams like Duke and Maryland.

BTW, 26 turnovers by UNC against Clemson? AND they are being out-rebounded by 10? Holy cow. I'm i'm a halfway decent team in the ACC, I'm salivating at those statistics.

That's almost a truism. I totally agree.

Next year, they will be athletic, flashy, and improved, but fundamentally weak.
