Unable to Quote

I am finding that I can not quote. When I go to insert quote the cursor drops below the quote like normal and then jumps into the quoted area. This is done on my Samsung s21 phone, any suggestions?

I logged out of my account and logged in and now it's working correctly basically a refresh.
