@Storrs South , how do I get this exact recording on my you tube on the TV? When I look it up thru the TV all I get is a recording of the full game that some Asian dude put up and it is all cut up for some reason, way to choppy to watch.

Materials
  • Smartphone with YouTube app downloaded
  • A wi-fi router
  • A television (can be smart!)
  • A Roku or other streaming device that can connect to said Tv
Directions
  1. Turn on TV
  2. Connect streaming device to TV (if not a smart TV)
  3. Change TV input to the one that matches the input of the streaming device
  4. (if not already on phone) Download YouTube app on your smartphone
  5. Open the YouTube link above and as it to open in the YouTube app
  6. Make sure your streaming device / tv and smartphone are connected to the same wi-fi router
  7. When you open the link in the YouTube app, there will be a logo in the top right of your screen that looks like wi-fi bands inside of a rectangle, click that link and a window will pop up to select your tv or streaming device.

Thank you so much for taking the time here. I have a new TV, wi-fi, and I have a roku, also this lap top I am tapping on. I do not have a smart phone, just a Walmart special. Can I still make this happen with the laptop? Or, is there a way to just locate this on my TV/roku? I do have youtube on the TV already, just cannot get this specific video replay.

You are a good man for helping me.

You should be able to use a browser and cast the Youtube on browser tab/window to the roku. If you're on Chrome, look for the "cast to" button on youtube page or in the 3 dot settings at the top right, 'cast, save, share'
 
I am on Microsoft Edge, they must have something too. Cast it huh? I have no idea how this will work, never done it, breaking new ground here for this long-term novice :)
