UMass gets a new HC

UMass picked up Notre Dame's O-Coord. Charley Molnar. They seem excited about playing at Gillette stadium. I can't see how they can put a decent crowd in there but who knows. The guy does have the enthusiasm of a 6 year old on Christmas morning. Hey..... more power to em. It would be nice to have a legit rivalry game with UMass once they get that D-1 ball moving in the right direction.

Molnar may end up being a great head coach somewhere and has experience with multiple MAC schools, but he's never been a head coach and didn't truly run the ND offense. It will be interesting to see how Molnar fares with UMess.

If he does as good as Edsall did building a program they should be alright. Now they need someone up there to step up big time and get them a on campus training facility worthy of wowing potential recruits. If they can do that they'll be heading in the right direction and can be taken seriously.
