We know that they've played 8 of their 14 games against teams ranked in the Top 25. But look at the teams who weren't ranked whom the Huskies have beaten:

LSU (W-L)- 13-3
Dayton- 9-7
Tennessee-Chattanooga- 8-8
Nebraska- 4-12
Central Florida- 10-6
East Carolina- 10-6

In other words, Connecticut has played just one team with a losing record during those fourteen games, and one team with a .500 record.

And if one eliminates the losses against UConn from their W-L records, those six unranked teams sport a record of 54-36. That's a .600 winning percentage of the unranked teams UConn's played!

That's called doing it the hard way!!

The worst teams Uconn has played to date based on RPI is Nebraska at #137, and UCF at #127 - those are the only two games outside the top 100, and they have only played an additional three games against RPI 50-100 in Dayton at #99, Chattanooga at #94, and ECU at #65.

And the worst of the 9 top 50 opponents is OSU at #30 RPI.

Alternatively, if you use either Sagarin or Massey - Uconn has played 9 teams in their top 25 listing with LSU now up to #25 in both and KSU up to 18/20. Before the Yori debacle at Nebraska that was supposed to be a decent game as well, and Dayton certainly wasn't helped with Jabir's sudden medical resignation.
