"Two to make one?" You must be old (like me). I remember when the NBA had 3 to make 2 (foul shots) and 2 to make 1 as penalties after a certain number of fouls. AND if you (gently) forced someone with the ball out of bounds, the refs called it a "force out" (not a foul) and the all was put back in play from the sidelines. (Late '60's/early '70's?)
