UConn's current winning streak in perspective

We have been quietly amassing a significant winning streak. Our streak is at 34 games (16 to end last season and 18 so far this year). That is good for 15th place all time. By the end of the regular season we will reach 47, putting us tied for the 5th longest streak. Monday's game and that against Tennessee are the biggest threats, but I like our odds.

Yup. I saw a similar story on the ESPN app last night, but the focus was on SoCar's stopped 43 game streak. I was wondering if someone here would notice the article and tempt fate...well...

Thanks for compiling all this but you said in the intro that our current streak is at 34 (correct) but you put 35 (not yet) in the table. It doesn't change anything but the mojo gods are not happy

Oops, I read too quickly. Not good that I saw 1996 and confused it with 2026.

Oh, I just took the table to be showing where the current team would fit in the existing list. We'd be just below 15, and tied for 15 if we beat ND. I need to get reading glasses.
