It goes without saying UConn had talented teams to win four straight National Championships. In these for years UConn will have had 8 players drafted in the first round of the WNBA draft. They are:

Kelly Faris Picked 11th by CT Sun 2013
Stefanie Dolson 6th by Washington Mystics
Bria Hartley 7th by Seattle Storm, later traded to Washington
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis Picked 3rd by Seattle Storm
Kiah Stokes picked 11th by NY Liberty
Breanna Stewart picked 1st by Seattle Storm
Moriah Jefferson TBD
Morgan Tuck TBD

If we were to project out 4 years how many UConn players will be drafted in the 1st Round. Obviously this is pure speculation but time will probably prove out that I'm not too far off base. :)

2017 Draft Saniya Chong won't be drafted 1st round. Will she be drafted will depend on her health.
2018 Kia Nurse and Gabby Williams. Projecting will be late 1st round or early 2nd round picks. This will be a talented draft.
2018 Natalie Butler. Her size says she'll be drafted. How high is based on her development over next 2 years. She could declare in 2017 draft but don't think she will.
2019 Katie Lou Samuelson Early 1st Round Probably top 3 pick. Napheesa Collier late 1st or early second round. Has the talent to go high in the draft if her potential is realized.
2020; Who Knows.
