No surprise here: The top-ranked UConn women remain the No. 1 overall seed in the second Division I women’s basketball committee bracket that was revealed Sunday afternoon. UConn (20-1, 17-0 Big East) ascended to the top spot in the rankings and committee’s seeding following its overtime victory over then-top-ranked South Carolina at the beginning of February. Its sole loss this season came at the hands of Arkansas, 90-87, at the end of January.
