Even before tip-off someone on VolNation said the black unis were a sign of blatant disrespect to Pat’s memory. Gimme strength. We probably also showed disrespect by winning the game. Some people.

I’m probably in the minority on these uniforms, but I like them. They should save them and wear them again next year when they play TN. Maybe they will bring them some luck. Geno did mention (in his post game presser) something about auctioning them off, and donating the proceeds to Pat’s charity foundation. I also like the uniforms they wore back in 2005. Those were sharp.

Geno and the team are going to get one hell of a reception next year when they go to Knoxville. Geno is still vilified in that part of the state. Many of the “hard core” old school LV fans still want Geno’s head on a stick. There had better be a heavy police and security presence at that game. A security escort back to the airport after the game (win or lose) might not be a bad idea either.

I like the Black Uniforms. To me, they look a lot better than those gray uniforms they wear when they normally play a home game away from Storrs. By the way, do they still have that ice cream bar at Storrs? I use to go there all the time for either a milk shake or a hot fudge sundae.
