seems like were really putting in time with a few kids. the staff clearly knows of who is staying or going and also how many ships we will have for next year. seems to me we have 2 spots open which is interesting. jl/ad could go pro lottery style but we also should be getting 1 of the 2 apr ships back in the final year of that docking for good performance/increase #'s and don't count out a transfer that almost happened last summer..

For what it's worth, my teammate who was wearing a cuse jersey approached Nerlens after the game for a picture, and talked to him for a minute or two and he said Cuse is his #1.

As a cuse fan i hope he was being sincere, but i bet if he talked to a kid wearing a uk jersey hed tell him the same thing

Cuse is a great program, but I think they are a notch behind some of the big boys when it comes to developing big men. I think Cuse would be an odd choice considering they play a zone. It would be hard not to go to UK considering the type of season Anthony Davis is having.

And Cousins before him.

If you're a talented, already more-or-less developed player, why not go somewhere that showcases your offense and only really forces you to play D?

Coach Cal isn't a great coach. He gets kids to defend and he recruits. Everything else is contingent on players bringing in the skills (at least recently--he showed a lot of skill in development at UMass, but he hasn't had to do that in years).

My money says Lamb and Drummond are gone which frees up 1 scholarship. Omar is taking that ship.

I also think we most likely get 1 back from sanctions maybe 2. Gotta get 1 or 2 good players there. Can't afford to miss with limited ships.

noel likes cuse but the catch is our staff(while us fans don't) know what the deal is with our guys on who is doing what. cuse doesn't know wtf melo is doing. kid is a mess in all aspects of campus life and the year he is having is good but nowhere good enough to make him lottery so it really makes it a big ? as to what hes going to do. ppl up there feel he may not survive another semester of school or behaving on cmapus yet he needs another year of development before being a lottery pick. with coleman coming in if melo stays then why would noel ever go there and fight for time(loaded roster mostly coming back) when he could plug in behind ad at uconn or davis at uk or other places. he knows hes the real deal so he just needs to be able to get on the court right away, heck prov would get him more pt than cuse can. cuse is having a major year so that gets kids juice going, lets see how excited kids are after another sweet 16 bus ride home with JB. us keeping tabs is a great sign that things are happening for next year no matter if we sniff noel or not. i'll take ao's cuz and selden anyway btw...

seems like sam cas jr is high on us as our pg recruit. omar comin, so i'm just waiting for some big man news.
the next 2 years are ct loaded with the new england preps having plenty also. kuran, kahari and the pg at windsor among others would be fine gets. i'm happy recruit trail wise where uconn is these days.
