UConn vs West Coast teams

There aren't that many good teams out there but we seem to own them. Some of my best memories as a fan revolve around either destroying or beating the Zags, Zona, and Washington in big games. There was a great Stanford game in the mix too when we were badly undermanned.

Only one game comes to mind... I was young, but the memory is painful.

Yeah, but only because we’ve been lucky enough not to play them at altitude. (No, I won’t explain and if you weren’t around 13 years ago you’re out of luck.)

Was at the 2001 game vs AZ when we made that run at the end. Gampel was rocking though I do remember it got quiet a bit at the end because it seemed like the whole building didn't know if the last shot was a block or goaltend. I remember being in the student section and turning to the guys around saying well we'll take it because it sure didn't look like a goaltend.
