Just curious, why do they cut away to a logo image for our free throws?
Thanks, I bet you are right. Good sleuthing!Here’s a decent guess: The video feed we saw online is actually a tap off of the scoreboard video system. At a dead ball, the scoreboard shows commercials. The commercials are blanked out from the outbound feed, because either the sponsor hasn’t paid for the extra exposures, or UConn knows viewers would really freak out if they got commercials in place of free throws. The audio is a tap off of IMG radio. For an in-house kind of production, I thought it was well done. And, the price was right.
